Maximizing your screener’s efficiency and achieving a consistent product with minimum down time is the goal of most of our customers. Each application has its unique challenges and therefore individual resolutions. Midwestern’s sales professionals have the experience and knowledge to help you determine the best machinery and accessories to reach your screening objective.
One question that Midwestern is continually asked is, “How do I get more from my screener?” To help our customers, Midwestern approached some of our sales professionals to get their response.
“Midwestern’s ball tray system is a great, economical way customers can maximize their screening processes. It can easily be installed into existing Midwestern screeners as well as other makes and models. By adding the extra vibration of the balls, the material is able to flow more easily through the screen while keeping the screening surface clear of near-size plugging,” said Chip Woods, Sales/Service Consultant.
“Maximizing performance of your separator comes from understanding how to make proper adjustments to achieve your specific results. Midwestern’s sales/service consultants can come into your facility, discuss your screening goals, examine your equipment and then make the necessary modifications. For your convenience, our sales professionals are trained and have experience working on most types of screeners,” said Ron Earp, VP of Sales/Marketing.
“The best way to know how your material is going to screen on any type of machinery is to do testing. Midwestern’s test facility has full-scale equipment to simulate actual processing plants. It’s during the testing phase where we can determine what will help the machine perform at it’s best,” said Tricia Barkan, Director of Inside Sales.
“Maximizing your screening process essentially starts at feeding any screener properly. Whether it is round or rectangular the goal is to have the material utilize the entire screening surface before being discharged. For round separators feeding the material in the center of the screen is best. For rectangular screeners having the material spread evenly across the entire screening surface will yield the highest results. Midwestern’s sales team can assist you with techniques and products that can increase your screener’s effectiveness,” said Jason Bailey, Sales/Service Consultant.
